1000 Pageviews!

Hi guys,
Recently I noticed that pageviews have drastically sunken :(
So, let's make it to 1000 pageviews people! We're only 322 pageviews away!
I'd really appreciate it!
Otherwise, I'd also like to talk about this weird movie my sister and I watched last night: "Bright Star".
Here's the trailer:

The film was beautifully shot, but I didn't really like it...
I didn't like this movie because I didn't like the characters. I didn't like Keats (Ben Wishaw), the poet and protagonist,  because he was a creep and I didn't like Fanny (Abbie Cornish), his lover, because she was annoying. I just couldn't feel the chemistry between them. Like, when Keats leaves Fanny to go and make some money and Fanny is heartbroken, I could have cared less. And I don't know if it's because I watched "The Perfume" or not; I just was creeped out by Ben Wishaw as John Keats. He kept on saying weird things like "I only think about you and my death and I hope they occur simultaneously", or the way he was always sitting on the floor and acting autistic, (even though I don't know if John Keats really was autistic or not...). Fanny wasn't better though, she was always bragging about the horrible clothes she was wearing, which she'd designed herself. Yeech!

This picture is one of the less horrible dresses.
To the people who liked this movie, this is just my opinion, sorry.
All in all, the way it was shot and the cute little girl made it worthwhile, but the main characters left a lot to be desired. Oh yeah, and the kid from Nanny McPhee was in the movie and I think he had about two lines in the whole 2 hours the movie went on.

Moving on. You can finally buy and rent movies from iTunes Switzerland! Yay! The only problem: they're in German...
So, while I was looking at some movie previews, I noticed just how stupid the German dubbed trailers sound! They are always the same four voices: young man, young woman, old man and old woman.
I swear I recognized the voices from almost every second TV-show I watch!
The only other German voice is Squidward's; seriously, the German voice of Squidward from SpongeBob is everywhere!
On Scrubs; on Grey's Anatomy; on My Name is Earl; EVERYWHERE!
Also, the voice acting isn't that good. While in "Inception" Leonardo DiCaprio's character sounds deep and worried, the German voice sounds laid back and cool.
Here are a few comparisons; you don't need to understand it, just listen to the voices.
Inception:

German:

One of my favorite examples: I swear in German, all four brothers and some of the others have exactly the same voice!
Four Brothers:

And finally; Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter's voice is dull and horrible in German, I feel really bad for those who can't speak English...

Horrible!
Anyways, have a nice day,

Poll Results 1!

Hey guys,
So, time's up and the poll results are in! (excitement)
And four of you voted, and all for the same place: New York!
So, I guess that's probably where I'm headed! Although Courtney Michelle Johnson had a good point, I should probably wait until I have an audition or a gig set up and then decide to go.
But first I'll have to wait a year... :( I found out only 9th graders get to go on foreign exchange, so not me.
But, since this Poll went so well, I have another question for you guys: Chinese or Russian?
I found out a few days ago, that I can take foreign language classes at school next year.
But only two of them really interested me: Chinese and Russian.
Why these two?
Because Chinese is the most spoken language in the world and I've been to China a few times and loved it!
Or Russian, because for some reason I've always been fascinated by Russia and it's culture.
Or maybe... Spanish? I don't know, but when I travel, all good TV-shows are in Spanish...
Or do you guys think it'd be a waste of time? Some of my friends say that their siblings took foreign language classes and couldn't say a word in it, if asked. But others say, that their siblings took foreign language classes and said it was one of their best decisions made, because they could study in different countries and speak the language.
So what do you guys think?
Elle ;)
